Can Chiropractic help Children with Ear Infections?

I had a patient come in the other day and he was upset because his 6 month old daughter hadn’t been sleeping for the past 2 days and had a fever and was producing mucus from her nose like crazy. So I began teaching him about chiropractic and kids, and how an ear infection happens and how antibiotics don’t always work. I began to explain the chiropractic approach to ear infections and he became more comfortable about the situation. He said “I’m going to go home and tell my wife what you said so we can get this resolved.” It’s amazing to me that after this many years chiropractic as a profession hasn’t been able to explain better to the general population about the benefits of chiropractic care, and how being proactive is better than being reactive. My hope is that at a point I will beĀ in a position to be able to explain on an even bigger scale so I can teach more people about the many benefits of chiropractic care.
